OOOH Spooky!

So Dean and I carved pumpkins together for the first time. I love it and thanks to mom we were totally taken care of. She bought us two pumpkins and gave us all the tools needed. All i've got to say is whoever created that little scraper for this inside is brilliant. I love my husband to pieces and doing little things like this with him make the holidays amazing! Thanks Dean for carvin with me and thanks mom for making sure we have a great holiday even though we haven't got any kids, well not just yet atleast! :) Can you guess who's is who's?

Here are the details!

Ok, there is a reason no details went with the before post. I didn't really have any! We've had some scares with this little guy. I cramped really bad in the beginning. so bad that they would wake me up in the middle of the night. I went to the doctor to make sure everything was OK and the nurse practitioner said that she was afraid the baby wasn't developing correctly. Sent me in for blood work at the lab and then basically said watch for spotting and I'll see you in three weeks. I was freaked out!! Well three weeks of worry went by and last week Dean and I heard out little guys heart beat! What a rush!! Still no due date though because the actual doctor and the nurses ultra sounds were so far off from each other I had to go back AGAIN today for another picture of Fergus the Fetus. So.....Today we have a gummi bear folks. A gummi bear that's heart is strong and looks great. Fergus the Fetus is due May 26th and Dean and I couldn't be more excited. We're still not in the safe zone though so I am taking it pretty easy because I've had a little bit of spotting but the doctor says everything looks really great. I've been getting more sick lately. Mostly in the afternoon and in the evening. It's all worth it though, or at least I hope it is. :)

Tagged!

Ok Kaycee here we go! I am really horrible at doing these tags but I'm going to try because to be honest with you I don't think I can come up with 7 things about myself.

Here's how to play:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I can say the whole Spanish alphabet. It is the only thing that I learned from Spanish class in high school and I think because there is a song that we sang along with it is the reason it stayed in my mind.

2. I love taking pictures. I used to do it on the side for weddings but I'm not good under pressure and even though my pictures always turned out great I was a giant stress case!

3. I have no fears when it comes to saying what I think. I don't think I ever have. I really should hold back sometimes but it just comes flowing out of my mouth before I can even stop myself.

4. One of my goals in life is to learn to play tennis. I have no idea why tennis, but I've just always loved the sport. I think it's totally competitive and an amazing workout that is half mental. It almost makes you push yourself to a limit. You just get into a zone!! Oh running a long distance race is going to be included in this goal area. And long distance to me folks is like a 10 k. I love to run, but I just have never been consistent enough to train.

5. I love to eat out. Dean and I do it probably far more then we ever should but it just tastes so yummy especially when you don't have to clean up the mess. My favorite is Mexican food. Honestly I could eat it for every meal. Lately though i could go for a giant bowl of Phu noodles, if you don't know what that is it's delicious.

6. I love to play cards with my husband. He is so fun and is such a gamer. I usually beat him and I love it. It's one of the only things I can beat him at so I have to take a moment and wallow in it.

7. And last but not least.....As soon as I get home from work at night I strip off all my clothes except for my under garments of course! I can't stand to be in my clothes these days. I think it's because married life has made me a little more plump so everything is a little more tight. I just feel like I am suffocating in those clothes of mine. So please folks, if you plan on coming over give a girl some warning. :)

Ok I'm not good at telling people to do this biz cause I'm not good myself so I'm going to throw my family under the bus.

Victoria, British Columbia....AMAZING!!

My sister in law got married this weekend in Victoria. Oh my goodness!! It was absolutely amazingly beautiful! I don't think you can fully prepare yourself for the beauty. You let a little Vegas girl like me out like this and I just can't get enough. Traveling the world, well once I find money some day, HERE I COME!! We took a ferry over to the island. What a beautiful ride with such amazing scenery. From the minute you step foot off of your airplane the air just feels beautiful on your face. I don't even know if you can explain it. It's like gentle gusts all day long. AHH!! Just thinking about it sends me to a different place in my mind. Then we went to the castle where the wedding party was staying. What BEAUTIFUL grounds!! Flowers everywhere!! Flowers that here in the states we pay almost 7 dollars a stem for grow in every ones front yards! I just loved to walk, with my husband of course, down the streets, and the piers, anywhere that we could. You almost don't want to drive in your car. There is no wonder you don't see any fat Canadians! The wedding was beautiful. Very different, but beautiful. I guess when you get a little Mormon girl like me to a regular wedding it just feels like a giant party! You always have a good time at a party especially a party with a beautiful girl dressed in a white dress and a handsome guy both super happy together. It was an amazing time and I could say so much more. Like tell you about the giant jelly fish or the amazing street bands, or the Parliament building lit with white lights at night and the huge boats off the wharf....BUT.... I will just try to learn how to post a slide show so you can see all of it for yourselves. We can't wait to go back!!

Party Time!! Excellent!!!

It is so much fun being married to someone so great! He really does understand me, well most of the time. :) I had a great week last week. I went one day to St. George just for a day trip. Got to spend some time with my mom canning tomatoes and then spent some time with my baby sister, which is always nice, and her three adorable little boys. They love their aunt Meg and she loves them right back! Then on Friday when I got off I wanted to be spontaneous. I asked Dean if we could just hop in the car on Saturday morning and head up North to Lagoon for a day trip. He didn't even hesitate. We went bowling with some of his friends Friday night, drove up to my folks house in New Harmony after we were done there, slept 4 hours, and then we were off to a fun filled day at the park. Now Lagoon is not your high class amusement park but it we mingled with the white trash ok. It was a lot of fun and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful! One of the added bonuses to this trip was even though it was breif, I got to spend some more time with 3 more nephews, one niece, and a sister that I just adore and don't get to see that often. Even if it was just a rushed trip to target together that little bit of bonding time is always top notch!! Then on Monday my parents came to Vegas for the day and I got to go and shop with my mom. Its so nice when they come even though my mother despices it here. I guess it all boils down to I miss my family and any sort of time with them is time I love and my husband is wonderful! I have great sisters and I love spending time with all three of them. You know when you're younger you never quite think you will get to the point where you love them this much but I guess you always do! Life gets busy and you get so wrapped up in the, we have to do this, and we have to do that's, that you forget the fun. I'm trying to remember the fun. It's what makes life worth while if you ask me!!
