A few pictures

As all of you mothers out there know there are no new posts in the last little while due to the adjusting that must happen in your life when a new baby comes on board, especially your first. There is a whole new type of tired, busy, and especially a whole new love that you learn about. I really didn't think it was possible to love another being as much as I love my little girl. When they give her shots at the doctor if I could take that pain from her rather then see those tears stream down her little face I would do it in a heartbeat. Keeley and I love being home just hanging out together. She is growing so fast. I can't believe just 4 weeks ago she was only 7 pounds now she is 9 pounds 4 ounces. I guess that breast milk really does fatten em up real quick. It's a good thing it is doing something because she won't latch on so I pump every 4 hours just to feed my babe the good stuff. It is a LOT of extra work but I am hanging in there and I will do it as long as I can. As for Dean, he is working a ton. He leaves early in the morning and comes home late in the evening. He's making good money for us this summer though which works out beautifully for our buy a house plan which is still in the works. I hope we find something soon. Our little family is bursting at the seems here in the in-laws house. It will be so nice to have a place to call our own. Well that's about it for the McLeod's. Not too much is exciting but just wanted to throw down an update for ya'll.

Oh she is beautiful. Don't you love seeing tiny little girls cuddling with their big daddies? It's so sweet! I'm glad you are having so much fun with your little one!

Meg--it goes by SOOO fast! This trial with breastfeeding will be done before you know it---though it may not seem like it. Keep it up! YOU CAN DO IT! She is beautiful! And being SO DANG tired will go away with time and sleep! Maybe you've heard this but sleep when she does not matter what you HAVE to do! Seriously! Keep taking LOTS of pictures....I've been showing Ally her baby pictures (millions of them) and she loves to look at them almost weekly now!
