Love-Hate relationship
I have a serious love hate relationship with running into old friends. I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing them. It is so good to see how they're doing, how they are looking, and just in general what they are doing with their life. Now the hate part of this thing. I wish so badly that when I ran into someone from my past that I felt confident with how I looked. It would just be so nice to walk away from an encounter like that and think, wow it was so amazing to see them, instead of walking away thinking oh my gosh I wish that I would have actually done my hair or looked thinner, or.... Well, you know how it goes. Some day I'll get there. I am sure of it. After my skin is all done stretching from having babies, my life is less crazy so I don't want that piece of chocolate, or I have more time to go on that leisurely run. With all that being said, Jolene, if you are stalking this blog post I adored running into you. You look fabulous and I would love to catch up more on how things are going with you and even some night leave the baby with my husband and go grab dinner or something:)

Hey Meg, I think (or hope) that many of us moms can relate. I can. After the chat, I don't necessarily focus on the conversation and the visit (though I should) but how I may have looked because let's face it...being a mom has brought on MANY sub-par looking days for me! Keep your chin up...I know how you feel! If we ever run into each other...I'll be sure to tell you how cute you look! :) And I'm sure I won't be lying!
Your darling so don't doubt yourself for one second. But just know that most of us moms feel the same way and you are NOT alone.
awwww, love the updated pictures of your daughter! She is so adorable and getting so big :) You look terrific in that last picture! :)
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I love you, Megs. And that precious baby of yours. Give her hugs and kisses for me and let's get together and play sometime!
Oh, I feel the same way about running into old friends...but at my age, we've all changed so much....I probably wouldn't recognize a lot of them!! I have the same problem with wondering if I looked okay...especially wishing I were THINNER!!! Must be a girl thing!!! Thanks for stopping by Jeremiah 29:11 and commenting on my little owl give-a-way! Hope you have a blessed week!
