What a weekend!

So my parents are the best! They put together and helped pull off a much needed family vacation. They rented a pontoon boat at Panguitch and all of us made our way up to Chris' Uncle Ernies cabin, Thanks a million Uncle Ernie, for the weekend. Every one of the Adams clan was there. I can't remember the last time we've had a vacation and having all of the sisters, husbands, and their kids together was just full of excitement. Dean had never been fishing on a boat before and he loved it! We caught tons of fish, well not we. The fish were sexist! They didn't like the girls bait or people with names like Chris that could be girls. All of the boys though caugh fish and loved every bit of it. Here are a few pictures of the excitement. Oh just in case you are wondering what that sexy blue and red boat is, that is the boat Chris and his uncle made. Yes, I said made! Pretty fierce if you ask me. So to say the least I had a great weekend. You put me in a place with my new husband that I love to death and my family that are the other half of my world and I folks, find my happy place! Oh by the way, there was supposed to be more pictures but our camera died. Man I need to learn to bring extra batteries!

I'm such a retard!

Ok so now that we had a good post about date night I thought I will fill the blogging world in on my morning. My morning began like most people's i'm sure. You think to yourself, "today I am going to be a great wife. Hop in the bath real quick and run to get soap, start a load of wash, you know....be ULTRA productive." Well like most women I can never just sit and wait for my bath to run so I began my multi tasking only to about 10 minutes later hear a strang dripping sound coming from my DOWN STAIRS window. Ignoring is once I continued to hear it. Then it hit me! Holy crap!! That's the water from my UP STAIRS bathtub that I was running. Yes folks, I had managed to flood my bathroom. 15 towels and one shop vac and fan later we are waiting to see the results from my stupid mistake!

Shark Reef

SO....my dear sweet husband and I had a night on the town last night. Every Friday night we make a point to have a date night. Well last night, he took me to The House of Blues for dinner and the Shark Reef in the Mandalay Bay. What an awesome night! I seriously have thought sometimes in my life that being a marine biologist would be one of the most amazing professions. Now I know some of these pictures people may find offensive but hey, we're young married people and sometimes we still like to have a good time and take dirty suggestive pictures! :) It's part of who we are! I love date night as you can tell and honestly when I think about it, who wouldn't when you get to have this much fun!

Here are the chairs!

A long time ago in a land far away I purchased these lovely old chairs from an antique shop. They were great but the padding on the seat was really no where to be found and they were a light green color. Well in my new little world of marriage non cushy seats and light green chairs weren't going to work so with my brilliant mother's help recovering the chairs and my husband's help painting them red this is what we got in the end! I really like them but don't judge how plain my house looks folks. It's a rental and we're still just gettin started here.

Welcome to our family Joey!

We would like to welcome our new BBQ to the family! As you can see our smokin hot Chef, ladies don't get any ideas, he's my husband, made us some tasty steaks on our new BBQ, Joey. Its just the perfect size for us and we've been wanting one for a long time! Woohoo for the new summer staple for cooking!

Dancin!

Who is this adorable little girl you ask? Well it is my niece Devin. One of my favorite things about being married is inheriting 4 more nieces and nephews. We all know that I love my babies, my 3 sisters kids, but now I get to love these 4 as well. I really do just adore having them here in town with us. It fills my little void a tiny bit from not having all of my nieces and nephews that I have grown so close to. Devin had a dance recital on Saturday and she did amazing! It made me think to myself that havin a little girl might not be so bad after all. I mean really folks, just look at what a princess she is! As you can see I was so busy I couldn't quite get ready myself but thank heavens for little Devin makin this picture look good! We love you Devin and you did amazing!
