Victoria, British Columbia....AMAZING!!

My sister in law got married this weekend in Victoria. Oh my goodness!! It was absolutely amazingly beautiful! I don't think you can fully prepare yourself for the beauty. You let a little Vegas girl like me out like this and I just can't get enough. Traveling the world, well once I find money some day, HERE I COME!! We took a ferry over to the island. What a beautiful ride with such amazing scenery. From the minute you step foot off of your airplane the air just feels beautiful on your face. I don't even know if you can explain it. It's like gentle gusts all day long. AHH!! Just thinking about it sends me to a different place in my mind. Then we went to the castle where the wedding party was staying. What BEAUTIFUL grounds!! Flowers everywhere!! Flowers that here in the states we pay almost 7 dollars a stem for grow in every ones front yards! I just loved to walk, with my husband of course, down the streets, and the piers, anywhere that we could. You almost don't want to drive in your car. There is no wonder you don't see any fat Canadians! The wedding was beautiful. Very different, but beautiful. I guess when you get a little Mormon girl like me to a regular wedding it just feels like a giant party! You always have a good time at a party especially a party with a beautiful girl dressed in a white dress and a handsome guy both super happy together. It was an amazing time and I could say so much more. Like tell you about the giant jelly fish or the amazing street bands, or the Parliament building lit with white lights at night and the huge boats off the wharf....BUT.... I will just try to learn how to post a slide show so you can see all of it for yourselves. We can't wait to go back!!Tuesday, September 2, 2008
Party Time!! Excellent!!!

It is so much fun being married to someone so great! He really does understand me, well most of the time. :) I had a great week last week. I went one day to St. George just for a day trip. Got to spend some time with my mom canning tomatoes and then spent some time with my baby sister, which is always nice, and her three adorable little boys. They love their aunt Meg and she loves them right back! Then on Friday when I got off I wanted to be spontaneous. I asked Dean if we could just hop in the car on Saturday morning and head up North to Lagoon for a day trip. He didn't even hesitate. We went bowling with some of his friends Friday night, drove up to my folks house in New Harmony after we were done there, slept 4 hours, and then we were off to a fun filled day at the park. Now Lagoon is not your high class amusement park but it we mingled with the white trash ok. It was a lot of fun and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful! One of the added bonuses to this trip was even though it was breif, I got to spend some more time with 3 more nephews, one niece, and a sister that I just adore and don't get to see that often. Even if it was just a rushed trip to target together that little bit of bonding time is always top notch!! Then on Monday my parents came to Vegas for the day and I got to go and shop with my mom. Its so nice when they come even though my mother despices it here. I guess it all boils down to I miss my family and any sort of time with them is time I love and my husband is wonderful! I have great sisters and I love spending time with all three of them. You know when you're younger you never quite think you will get to the point where you love them this much but I guess you always do! Life gets busy and you get so wrapped up in the, we have to do this, and we have to do that's, that you forget the fun. I'm trying to remember the fun. It's what makes life worth while if you ask me!!

What a weekend!

So my parents are the best! They put together and helped pull off a much needed family vacation. They rented a pontoon boat at Panguitch and all of us made our way up to Chris' Uncle Ernies cabin, Thanks a million Uncle Ernie, for the weekend. Every one of the Adams clan was there. I can't remember the last time we've had a vacation and having all of the sisters, husbands, and their kids together was just full of excitement. Dean had never been fishing on a boat before and he loved it! We caught tons of fish, well not we. The fish were sexist! They didn't like the girls bait or people with names like Chris that could be girls. All of the boys though caugh fish and loved every bit of it. Here are a few pictures of the excitement. Oh just in case you are wondering what that sexy blue and red boat is, that is the boat Chris and his uncle made. Yes, I said made! Pretty fierce if you ask me. So to say the least I had a great weekend. You put me in a place with my new husband that I love to death and my family that are the other half of my world and I folks, find my happy place! Oh by the way, there was supposed to be more pictures but our camera died. Man I need to learn to bring extra batteries!

I'm such a retard!

Ok so now that we had a good post about date night I thought I will fill the blogging world in on my morning. My morning began like most people's i'm sure. You think to yourself, "today I am going to be a great wife. Hop in the bath real quick and run to get soap, start a load of wash, you know....be ULTRA productive." Well like most women I can never just sit and wait for my bath to run so I began my multi tasking only to about 10 minutes later hear a strang dripping sound coming from my DOWN STAIRS window. Ignoring is once I continued to hear it. Then it hit me! Holy crap!! That's the water from my UP STAIRS bathtub that I was running. Yes folks, I had managed to flood my bathroom. 15 towels and one shop vac and fan later we are waiting to see the results from my stupid mistake!
Shark Reef

SO....my dear sweet husband and I had a night on the town last night. Every Friday night we make a point to have a date night. Well last night, he took me to The House of Blues for dinner and the Shark Reef in the Mandalay Bay. What an awesome night! I seriously have thought sometimes in my life that being a marine biologist would be one of the most amazing professions. Now I know some of these pictures people may find offensive but hey, we're young married people and sometimes we still like to have a good time and take dirty suggestive pictures! :) It's part of who we are! I love date night as you can tell and honestly when I think about it, who wouldn't when you get to have this much fun!
